Steven Corn Furs

The Corn family is proud to have been in the fur business for over a century.  Joseph Corn, Steven's grandfather opened the doors to his first shop on West 28th Street in 1898.  Over the following decades he built a solid reputation as one of New York City's top fur merchants. 

In 1937 his sons, Milton (Steven's father) and Monroe joined him.  By the 1970's, they had grown into the largest wholesale and manufacturing furrier in the USA and were known and respected worldwide.

Steven joined the family business part time in 1980 while pursuing a business degree at NYU.  In 1984 he opened the doors to "Steven Corn Furs: The Third Generation" in a 30,000 square foot retail space only a few feet away from the original location.  The business thrived and in 1987 Steven opened a second location in Paramus, NJ that has since become the flagship store.
 
In 2000, the New York City location was moved around the corner to a luxurious salon on Seventh Avenue.
 
We opened a beautiful shop in White Plains at "The Westchester" in 2002.
